Dr. Stylianos Asteriadis has joined Swarmlab in January 2015. Stylianos Asteriadis has a strong background in Computer Vision, Human-Machine Interaction, Machine Learning and Affective Computing.

On Friday the 16th of January 2015 Maastricht University will celebrate its 39th anniversary, or Dies Natalis. Our Bachelor’s Open Day on Saturday, November 8th was a big success. We had 90 students visiting us! Including the parents it was a very busy day. A big thank to Irme, Robert and Kirill who helped for the whole day.

On November 3rd and 4th, Rico went to Collogne to have the Roombots modular robots filmed for the ARD German TV show “Wissen vor acht – Zunkunft”. This show regularily presents futuristic research. The Roombots episode will be on air in 2015.

Our robots are used for an episode of the famous Dutch tv series ‘Flikken Maastricht’. We can not reveal much about the episode but you’re always welcome to see our robots live at Swarmlab. Post by Maastricht University, Department of Knowledge Engineering.
