{"id":552,"date":"2018-06-01T14:45:46","date_gmt":"2018-06-01T13:45:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/project.dke.maastrichtuniversity.nl\/cig2018\/?page_id=552"},"modified":"2018-06-01T14:45:46","modified_gmt":"2018-06-01T13:45:46","slug":"cig-travel-grants","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/project.dke.maastrichtuniversity.nl\/cig2018\/cig-travel-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"CIG Travel Grants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Travel Grants for the 2018 IEEE Conference on Computational Intelligence and Games (CIG18)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (IEEE CIS) will offer a limited number of Travel Grants for<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Students<\/strong> (undergraduate or graduate students, from any country)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professional Researchers<\/strong> from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/membership_services\/membership\/join\/emember_countries.html\"> Developing Countries<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>who are presenting one or more papers at IEEE CIS-sponsored conferences. One application system will be used for both students and professionals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements for Students<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Membership of IEEE (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/membership_services\/membership\/join\/index.html\">join IEEE here<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Membership of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/membership-catalog\/productdetail\/showProductDetailPage.html?product=MEMCIS011\">join IEEE CIS here<\/a>). Note that IEEE CIS is listed as an optional society membership under IEEE).<\/li>\n<li>Be the <strong>author or co-author<\/strong> of an accepted paper in the conference, actually attend the conference and <strong>present the paper<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>\u201cProof of University Attendance\u201d<\/strong> on university letterhead certifying that the student carries at least 50% of a normal full-time academic program as a registered undergraduate or graduate student in a regular course of study.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>\u201cRecommendation Letter\u201d<\/strong> from the student&#8217;s supervising professor on university letterhead that the student is the major contributor to the paper and approximately what was the student&#8217;s contribution in percent to the paper.
